I guess you backup your computer data, or at least know that you should. But what about your Android phone? If we think about the amount of important data which is stored on it, we'll realize that needs backup too. I'm not necessarily thinking about contacts and calendar, but there are also photos, music, videos and other stuff we keep stored on the smart-phone.

All those things needs to be backed up, just in case something bad happens to the phone or when doing a factory reset or installing a custom ROM. As an alternative way to synchronize and backup data of your phone for users who don’t want to use the native PC Suite application that came with the phone, there is Wondershare MobileGo.

Wondershare MobileGo is free application for Windows to manage your Android phone data. Additionally to the obvious features such as data transfer, synchronizing latest changes, backup and restore data, it provides SMS management which can help you view, send and delete messages, everything on the fly.

To get started, you'll have to turn on USB debugging mode on your smart-phone. There is also internet connection needed in order to download and install the required files on your phone for establishing connection. Once everything is set and your phone is connected, you'll be able to backup important data in case your phone is lost or stolen, import and export contacts, add, delete, group and back up all of your contacts for your Android smart phone.

Moreover, you can convert the incompatible formats into compatible ones when you try to import multimedia files from PC to your phone, transfer any of your favorite movies and music files from PC to your phone without worrying about the compatibility of file formats, build a new play-list, export to local, rename, delete, and set ring-tones. Another useful thing that you can do with this tool is to manage and handle pictures and photos like transferring, rotating, deleting, renaming and so on. Additionally, you can backup APK Applications from Android.

In case you don't want to connect you phone through USB cable, you can also connect your phone via Wi-Fi.
